Abstract
The Todros Abullafia’s selected poems bilingual edition by Rachel Peled and Maria Condor shows the wide array of Andalusian models, genres, conventions, etc., that have been etched in Todros Abullafia poetry. All the Todros genres and motifs bear witness of his own life, his court experience, the setbacks he went through, etc. In spite of being a courtier who enjoyed the joyful side of life, he knew the dire taste of jail as some of his poems hint. His poetry fashioned Andalucian influences, and from a philosophical point of view his ideas about time, destiny and God seems to outline a thought far from the classical Jewish thought.
