Amador de los Ríos and the Acknowledgement by Jews

Abstract

Archaeologist and historian, Amador de los Ríos is considered a modern humanist researcher. There is a before and after of Amador in Jewish studies not only in Spain but in the international arena. His approach to the history of Judaism in Sepharad (Spain and Portugal) is based on the vision of modernity and scientificity. The article takes a journey through his life and work.
